At WeddingWaliDidi (“we”, “our”, or “us”), accessible from weddingwalididi.in, we treat your family moments, wedding memories, and guest information with the utmost sanctity. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, process, store, and safeguard personal information in full compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (including the Information Technology Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information Rules, 2011).
1. Information We Collect
We collect information solely to provide a seamless, royal wedding invitation experience:
- Couple & Family Information: Names of the bride and groom, parents' names, wedding ceremony dates, auspicious timings, venue addresses, and Google Maps coordinates.
- Guest Interaction Data: Guest name and RSVP status (attending, attending with count, unable to attend), dietary notes, and written blessings/wishes in the digital guestbook.
- Event Media: Wedding event photographs uploaded by the couple or their designated official wedding photographer to Cloudflare R2 storage.
- Contact Information: Mobile phone number and email address used for administrative login, OTP authentication via Supabase, and order receipts.
2. AI Face Recognition & Biometric Privacy Policy
WeddingWaliDidi includes an AI Face Search (“Find My Photos”) feature powered by an isolated InsightFace ArcFace model running on private server instances. We maintain strict ethical AI standards:
- Ephemeral Selfie Search: When a guest uploads or captures a selfie to locate their photos, the image is converted in volatile server memory into a 512-dimensional mathematical numerical vector (embedding).
- Zero Biometric Image Selling or Third-Party Sharing: We NEVER sell, license, rent, or transfer biometric embeddings or guest selfies to third parties, advertisers, or government agencies.
- No AI Model Training: Your family photos and selfies are NEVER used to train foundational AI models or public generative engines.
- Event-Scoped Matching: Vector comparisons are strictly confined to the specific wedding album authorized by the couple. A guest's face is never cross-searched across other couples' events.
3. Payment Processing & Financial Data
All client payments for premium wedding packages are routed through Razorpay, an RBI-authorized payment aggregator compliant with PCI-DSS Level 1 security. WeddingWaliDidi does NOT store credit card numbers, debit card details, CVVs, net banking credentials, or UPI PINs.
Digital Shagun UPI Payments: When wedding guests send digital shagun to the couple, transactions occur directly between the guest's UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) and the couple's personal UPI VPA/QR code. WeddingWaliDidi does not hold, intermediate, or touch the shagun funds.
4. Data Storage & Security Measures
We implement enterprise-grade security protocols to protect your personal data:
- Encryption in Transit: All web traffic is enforced over TLS 1.3 with automated HSTS headers via Cloudflare Enterprise edge networks.
- Encryption at Rest: Database records in Supabase PostgreSQL and media assets in Cloudflare R2 are encrypted using AES-256 standards.
- Row-Level Security (RLS): Our database utilizes strict PostgreSQL Row-Level Security policies ensuring only authenticated wedding hosts can access guest RSVP records and phone numbers.
5. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023
As a Data Principal under Indian law, you hold complete control over your personal data:
- Right to Access: You may request a summary of the personal data processed by us.
- Right to Correction & Erasure: You may request the update or complete deletion of your wedding card, guest list, wishes, or photos from our servers at any time.
- Right to Grievance Redressal: You may contact our designated Grievance Officer with any questions or concerns.
